Install:
1. Saw off a suitable length of seamless steel pipe to remove burrs from the port. The end face of the pipe should be perpendicular to the axis, and the angle tolerance should not be greater than 0.5°. If the pipe needs to be bent, the length of the straight line from the pipe end to the bend should not be less than three times the length of the nut.
2. Put the nut and jacket on the seamless steel pipe. Pay attention to the direction of the nut and the ferrule, do not install it in reverse.
3. Apply lubricating oil to the pre-installed thread and jacket, insert the pipe into the joint body, and tighten the nut by hand.
4 Tighten the nut until the jacket catches the pipe. This turning point can be felt (pressure point) by an increase in torque.
5 Once the pressure point is reached, tighten the compression nut 1/2 turn.
6 Remove the pre-assembled connector body and check the fit of the ferrule edge. The visible raised tape must fill the space on the end face of the ferrule. The ferrule can be rotated slightly, but cannot be pushed axially.
7. Then, when installing, apply lubricating oil to the thread of the actual installation joint body, and tighten the compression nut until the felt tightening force increases. Then tighten 1/2 turn to install.
1. Repeat the installation.
All ferrule fittings can be re-installed multiple times as long as the parts are undamaged and clean.
Insert the tube into the fitting body until the ferrule rests on the tapered surface of the fitting body and hand-tighten the nut.
Tighten the nut with a wrench until the tightening torque increases sharply, then tighten 1/4 to 1/2 turn.
2. Inspection.
Dismantle the tube and check the assembly for compliance: there should be a uniform slight bulge on the tube at the end of the jacket. The ferrule cannot slide back and forth, but is allowed to rotate slightly.
3. The cause of leakage.
Is the tube inserted all the way? Are the nuts tightened?
